Been super busy—sorry for being quiet here. Once I started this website, I promised myself that I wouldn’t fall behind, and yet here we are… anyway…
October is finally here, or as I like to call it Sneptober. I’ve always loved fall, when the leaves change and the air gets cooler—always remember as a kid that meant hanging out outside at fires, hot chocolate, and free candy.
And now as an adult, it means finally not constantly being hot AND MFF (Midwest FurFest) is coming fast, and gearing up for all the other cons next year. TFF (Texas Furry Fiesta) and FWA (Furry Weekend Atlanta) are opening rooms or registrations or whatever else. So it’s a time to budget and get everything under control. And now that I’m a part of the Bark Side, we’re gearing up to apply and vend at all these cons, so I’m helping Rune with inventory and just getting everything organized.
Halloween was always a favorite holiday, but for awhile now, kind of fell by the wayside. It’s still a favorite because of the season and everything, but with money being tight for the past few years, I’ve never been able to really go all out like I used to. Not complaining, just ready to get fully back into the holiday whenever I can.
I know I’m going to bring it up to my roommates, but I definitely want to host some friends the weekend before Halloween and carve pumpkins!
